About This Website

This website is part of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office Division of Innovation and Infrastructure’s (DII) ongoing efforts to fulfill the Chancellor’s Vision for Success. The Division of Innovation and Infrastructure built and maintains this tool.

The website is database driven so that changes can be quicky reflected in the pages and so that multiple content experts can edit and add to the metadata.
The website tool enables the creation of relationships among the metrics and their data elements. This allows reports and comparisons that will clarify how metrics are being used and indicate how to harmonize similar metrics.

By providing clear definitions of the elements and metrics found on the various data portals within the Chancellor’s Office, DII is working to make the vast amounts of data collected within its various systems to provide insights about student and organizational progress and to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
